Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day is a very important day. He was born on Jan 15, 1929. He is a wonderful man. I learned that he helped us learn how to get along with everbody because he wanted this nation to rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed we hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal. Also Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. helped us to like people even if there black or white. He also made a famous speech on August 28, 1963. The speech was called (I Have A Dream). Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a giving man. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day I wrote a speech called I Have A Dream. If you click on the line below you can hear my I Have A Dream speech.

Hi Bella! Your narrative about Dr. Martin Luther King shows that you really understand what his speech was all about. Grandpa and I remember when he made that speech and we heard him give it. This shows what a difference just one person can make-and now we have an African American president! That never could have happened when Grandpa and I were your age because African American people were not as well thought of then. I am proud that Grandpa and I voted for Barack Obama.
